The House of Good Energy

Hale Manna, pronounced as ha-leh-ma-na means 'house of good energy'. Its name is taken from the Hawaiian words hale, which means 'house' and mana which means 'good energy'. Manna is also a play on the Filipino word mana, meaning 'an enduring inheritance or legacy', and the English word manna, which connotes 'a gift from heaven'.

"Hale Manna is a tranquil retreat where the magical effects of fresh air, sun, sand, sea and coastal gardens serve as a perfect setting to balance one's mind, body and spirit."

Our Philosophy

Sustainable Coastal Living

Our environmentally friendly accommodations reduce dependence on air-conditioning through natural ventilation design. Each cottage is oriented to catch coastal breezes while providing shade from the tropical sun.

Uniquely Filipino

Our architecture blends indigenous Filipino materials with modern sustainable practices. Traditional craftsmanship meets contemporary comfort in structures designed to harmonize with the natural landscape.

Home Grown

Community sourcing and organic gardens provide local produce for our kitchen. We prioritize ingredients from Moalboal families, supporting the local economy while ensuring fresh, quality meals.

Alternative Events

Hale Manna is an ideal venue for cultural events, local music gatherings, and spiritual seminars. As a sanctuary for reflection and connection rather than a party destination, our peaceful setting offers tranquil evenings under the stars.
